Boxoo agent · Budget Guard

Put your budget where it earns the most.

Budget Guard looks at every campaign’s budget, the reach it loses to budget limits, and whether its bid strategy and target fit the conversion volume it has. Winners held back by budget get flagged, and so do targets that starve a campaign.

Budget Guard, the Boxoo budgets & bidding agent

What it checks

Budget Guard runs the budgets-and-reach and bidding-strategy reviews.

Budget-limited winners

Campaigns that convert well but lose impression share because their budget runs out.

Budget on weak campaigns

Campaigns spending a large share of the account with results well below the rest.

Bid strategy fit

Whether a smart bidding strategy has enough conversions to learn, or would be better on a simpler strategy for now.

Targets out of reach

Target CPA or ROAS set so tight the campaign cannot spend, or so loose it overpays.

Changes it can make, after you approve

  • Change a campaign budget
  • Change a target CPA or target ROAS
  • Switch a campaign’s bid strategy
  • Pause or re-enable a campaign

Steps it hands to you

  • Anything the Google Ads API can’t change, as exact steps for your account

Nothing changes without you. Every change is shown with the evidence behind it and waits for your approval. Before a change is applied, Boxoo records the current values so you can undo it.

An example case

Each finding arrives as a case: what was found, the numbers behind it, and the next step.

Example · Budget Guard

A converting campaign is capped by its budget.

One campaign has the account’s best cost per conversion but lost a large share of impressions to budget over the last two weeks.

Suggested next step: Raise its daily budget by a set amount you choose. Boxoo records the current budget first, so undo puts it back.

Questions

Will Boxoo raise my spend without asking?

No. Budget changes are proposed with the evidence and only applied when you press Apply. Undo restores the previous budget.

Does it change bid strategies?

It can switch a campaign’s bid strategy or change its target when you approve. Most changes keep an undo; switching away from a shared portfolio strategy is the exception and can’t be undone from Boxoo.

How does it know what a good cost per conversion is for me?

It compares campaigns within your own account. You can also tell it your maximum acceptable cost per conversion, and every reviewer uses that from then on.
